Aqua Flex 212G |
|
AquaFlex 212G is a special grade of oxidized wax micronized to a NPIRI grind gauge reading of 4.0 - 6.0. AquaFlex 212G can be easily incorporated into water based systems with high speed dispersion equipment. AquaFlex 212G has been formulated to reduce or eliminate wax defoamer kick-out and improve dispersion stability in aqueous coatings and inks. AquaFlex 212G is a low cost alternative to impart a higher degree of lubricity and lower COF readings as well as excellent rub resistance to water based flexographic inks. Usage levels of 0.5 - 1.5% based on total formula weight will impart optimum properties. Specific areas of use are: water reducible flexographic and carton inks, water reducible stains and paints, water reducible coatings. Incorporation may be made directly into the system before let-down or a stable compound (pre-dispersion) can be prepared for post addition. |
