WELLGUARD 4083 corrosion inhibitor component is comprised of hydroxy-imidazolines and amides.
* Applications:
WELLGUARD 4083 corrosion inhibitor component is a base component for formulating oil-soluble corrosion inhibitors. It forms a tenacious film on metal surfaces thereby imparting corrosion protection. It tends to have less emulsifying tendencies than similar corrosion inhibiting substances. WELLGUARD 4083 corrosion inhibitor component is usually blended with surfactants and polymeric fatty acids to give commercial formulations. It may be used in drilling and production formulations. |
