Aquawax 114 is a modified synthetic wax micronized to a NPIRI grind gauge reading of 3-4.
Aquawax 114 is a hard straight chain wax that is easily incorporated into water based systems with standard dispersion equipment.
Aquawax 114 has been formulated to eliminate wax defoamer kick-out and improve stability in aqueous coatings and inks.
Aquawax 114 has been designed as a lower cost alternative to the more expensive micronized polyethylene waxes and will impart a higher degree of lubricity and lower COF readings.
Specific areas of use are: water reducible flexographic and gravure ink systems, water reducible stains and paints, water reducible coatings.
Incorporation may be made directly into the system before let-down or a stable compound (pre-dispersion) can be made for post addition. |
