				| MP-28C | | | | MP-28C is a special grade of micronized synthetic wax that has been processed to produce a spherical shape and narrow particle size distribution for easier dispersion into printing inks, paints and coatings. MP-28C will impart a smooth and slippery feel (hand) as well as resistance to abrasion.
Prior compounding or grinding are eliminated with the use of the MP-28C which can be easily dispersed into most coatings with high speed mixing.
MP-28C has been processed to a 3.0-4.0 grind on a NPIRI grind gauge (Hegman 6.0-6.5) and is recommended for use in sheet fed, quick-set, IR and heat set (low energy) web offset, flexographic and gravure inks, as well as, overprint varnishes and industrial coatings.
The MP-28C will impart optimum properties when added at levels of 1-3% by weight.
