Polyfluo 373
POLYFLUO 373 is a unique combination of high density polyethylene and PTFE that has been micronized to a 2.0-3.0 NPIRI grind gauge reading.
Due to its fine particle size, POLYFLUO 373 can be readily mixed into all ink and coating formulations using standard dispersion techniques and equipment.
POLYFLUO 373 has been formulated to provide a combination of optimum rub resistance and hardness usually associated with polyethylene, along with the lubricity(slip) provided by PTFE.
Each of the components are designed to provide properties for maximum performance when incorporated into printing inks, paints and coatings.
POLYFLUO 373 is a highly efficient and cost effective PTFE additive which, in most cases, can directly replace high priced PTFE powders in sheet fed, IR and web offset inks.
POLYFLUO 373 is recommended for use in the following areas: Flexo, gravure, web offset-heat set, sheet fed(quick set), ultra violet and metal decorating printing inks, coil coatings, industrial paints or finishes and all types of overprint varnishes.
