SUPERGLIDE 413A is a unique combination of wax polymers designed to impart lubricity and blocking resistance in printing ink, paint or coating applications.
SUPERGLIDE 413A is finely micronized to a NPIRI grind of 2.0-3.0 (Hegman 6.0-6.5) for ease of dispersion.
SUPERGLIDE 413A was developed to meet the need for coatings requiring excellent slip and lubricity properties without incurring the expense or settling characteristics of PTFE.
SUPERGLIDE 413A will impart excellent "feel" when incorporated into wood or plastic coatings while maintaining blocking and abrasion resistance.
SUPERGLIDE 413A will provide optimum levels of scuff and mar resistance along with excellent slip and mobility in furniture coatings.
Unlike other wax additives for wood finishes, SUPERGLIDE 413A can be easily incorporated using standard dispersion equipment without the need for grinding or melting.
Optimum usage levels range between 0.5 and 3.0 percent based on total formula weight.
Care should be taken to keep the processing temperature to a minimum when SUPERGLIDE 413A is used in the presence of aromatic solvents. |
