SYNFLUO 178 is a unique combination of micronized synthetic wax and PTFE.
SYNFLUO 178VF is micronized to a NPIRI 2.0-2.5 grind.
SYNFLUO 178 has been formulated to impart a combination of optimum abrasion resistance and hardness usually associated with synthetic wax along with the lubricity(slip) provided by PTFE.
Each of the components are designed to provide properties for maximum performance when incorporated into printing inks, paints and coatings.
SYNFLUO 178 can be easily mixed into all ink and coating formulations by means of standard dispersion techniques and equipment.
The particle size distribution is carefully controlled using microtrac laser analysis.
SYNFLUO 178 is supplied in 2 different particle size distributions.
SYNFLUO 178 is recommended for use in the following areas: Flexo, gravure, web offset-heat set, sheet fed (quick set), UV curing and metal decorating printing inks, can coatings, coil coatings, industrial paints, powder coatings and all types of overprint varnishes. |
