Oakite Drycid is an inhibited acidic powder designed for removing lime scale, iron sulfide, rust and other metal oxides from heat exchangers, air conditioning and processing equipment by circulation or soaking.
Unlike most acids, it does not give off acid fumes.
Oakite Drycid is also used for milkstone removal in HTST units, for removing certain scales formed in petroleum and chemical processing equipment and for barrel finishing of steel, brass and copper to remove scale.
Oakite Drycid is authorized by the USDA for use in federally inspected meat and poultry plants and is approved by the CDA(in Canada). |
