Oakite Enprox 355NC is a non-chromated product for controlling the formation of scale and corrosion in recirculating water systems.
A particular advantage of Enprox 355NC is that it remains stable and effective in the pH range of 8.0 to 10.0.
Thus, it is exceptionally beneficial for inhibiting scale, a major obstacle to efficient heat transfer in cooling systems utilizing alkaline water (pH above 7.0).
A gradual rise in pH is a normal expectation in recirculating water systems, with accelerated scale formation occurring above the level of 8.0.
Because of its ability to remain effective in the critical 8.0 to 10.0 pH range, Enprox 355NC is a highly practical solution to scaling in cooling towers, air washers, other recirculating water systems.
At the same time this product minimizes corrosion without reliance on sometimes objectionable chromates.
Liquid Enprox 355NC is conveniently introduced into the systems through Oakite automatic metering equipment.
Oakite Enprox 355NC is authorized by the USDA for treating steam lines and cooling systems where neither the treated water nor steam produced contacts edible products.
