Oakite Enprox BWT-3 is an all-in-one package liquid organic boiler water treatment specially formulated to prevent scale and sludge deposits from forming in industrial water boilers and to simultaneously control corrosion.
It's designed for boilers producing less than 13,600 kilograms(30,000 pounds) of steam per hour.
Phosphate- and chromate-free, Oakite Enprox BWT-3 contains special dispersants that prevent calcium, magnesium and barium salt scale from depositing in the boilers.
In the same application, the combination of ingredients in Enprox BWT-3 works three ways to control corrosion (1) an oxygen scavenger removes excess oxygen from inflowing water to reduce corrosion in boilers (2) inhibitors form a monomolecular film on metal surfaces to prevent corrosion on boiler surfaces as well as corrosion of steel, copper, bronze and aluminum in steam lines(3) part of the water treatment vaporizes with the steam to inhibit corrosion in the condensate system.
Enprox BWT-3 is not for use where there is any possibility that treated water or steam might contact either edible products or edible product equipment surfaces. |
