Oakite Microbiocide 400 is a liquid water treatment additive that inhibits the growth of algae, bacteria and fungi in cooling towers, heat exchangers, water storage tanks and other industrial water systems.
A combination of organosulfur compounds, the material is non-foaming, phosphate-free and non-corrosive to most metals commonly used in recirculating water systems.
Effective in systems ranging in pH from 7 to 10, Oakite Microbiocide 400 is stable for long periods, is not decomposed by high temperatures, is not lost from systems through evaporation.
It can be used for microbiological control in a wide range of recirculating water systems where the treated water does not contact edible products.
It may not be used on food contact surfaces or in potable water supplies. |
