Oakite Buff Brite NR is a moderately alkaline liquid that's free of both phosphates and silicates.
It's specially formulated to quickly remove all types of tenacious buffing compounds-including tripoli-from crevices and recessed areas in most metals.
A unique blend of solvents, wetting-out and penetrating agents, Buff Brite NR breaks the bond of both grease-free and grease-based metal-polishing materials.
What's more, it does this even when buffing compounds are ground into the metal surfaces-without the need for hand brushing.
At the same time, the special formulation protects the lustrous finish so desirable on quality metal products.
Applied by tank immersion or ultrasonically on most commonly buffed metals(including gold, silver and steel), it brightens brass and copper.
Non-silicated Buff Brite NR rinses freely to assure thorough removal of buffing compounds and minimize contamination of subsequent electrocleaning before plating.
When buffing is the final operation, the streak-free rinsing usually eliminates any need for hand wiping.
At any stage of metal finishing, Buff Brite NR can be used to remove buffing compounds at economically low concentrations. |
