As its name indicates, Oakite Draw Clean EXP is specially designed for Extreme Pressure drawing operations.
Actually, the lubricant has such superior film strength and exceptional cling, it's formulated for extreme pressure forming operations.
These include deep-drawing, heavy punching, swaging, rolling, wire and tube drawing.
Draw Clean EXP does these most difficult metal-forming jobs on the most difficult-to-work metals such as cold rolled and stainless steel surfaces.
Thanks to its high load capacity that prevents metal-to-metal contact, Draw Clean EXP minimizes or eliminates gouging or tearing of metal surfaces.
As a result, less work is rejected.
At the same time, the low friction value of the material's lubricity reduces heat generation to prevent the residue build-up that causes galling.
In turn, this friction reduction helps keep dies cool and clean extending tool and die life, too.
Nitrite-free Draw Clean EXP will provide temporary protection on ferrous metal surfaces from rust and stains during storage.
Actual length of protection will be dependent on plant conditions.
The film imparted by the oil-base lubricant is easily removed with an alkaline cleaning solution. |
