Collaborative has discovered, through some advanced chemistry, that the proven tyrosinase inhibitor kojic acid can be combined with ascorbic acid to produce a truly efficacious material: Melarrest A(patent pending).
This innovative ingredient is prepared via a proprietary, acid-initiated combinatorial chemistry process.
This approach results in a complex ascorbyl, kojyl and lactyl derivative with a polymeric backbone ensuring efficacy and stability.
This complex works at two levels.
The first inhibits the production and appearance of the pigment.
The second stimulates migration of cells to the surface through gentle exfoliation, reducing the concentration of melanin in the epidermis.
As an added feature, the antioxidant activity of the reactants is preserved making Melarrest A an all-around skin treatment agent which delivers a more youthful-looking skin tone and complexion.
