Tramfloc 1007 is the sodium salt of a polycarboxylic acid and is supplied as a mobile liquid, miscible with water in all proportions. The product is produced to a 39-41% activity level.
Tramfloc 1007 Dispersant produces stable and fluid slurries with such matter as: kaolins, titanium dioxide, calcium carbonate, talc, alumina, barium sulfate and other extenders. Tramfloc 1007 is the product of choice where residual sodium cations would prove detrimental. The most cost effective dosage of Tramfloc 1007 can be determined by graphing the slurry's dispersion viscosity versus the level of Tramfloc 1007 added. Constant conditions of temperature, pH and pigment concentration are essential for accurate dosage evaluation. The Tramfloc 1007 dosage corresponding to the lowest slurry viscosity indicates the optimum dispersant level for that particular slurry whose solids' content is usually between 60-80%, wt./wt. |
