Used as Antiseptics, Fungicides.
* Mechanism of action : Antibiotic. Nitroxoline is a urinary antibacterial agent active against susceptible gram + and gram - organisms found in urinary tract infections.
* Indications & usage : Urinary-tract infections
* Precautions & warnings : Renal-insufficiency
hepatic-insufficiency
avoid prolonged- administration for more than 4 weeks without further medical examination.
