Antioxidant AO-68 is a solid phosphite antioxidant with outstanding hydrolytic stability. Generally, it is used in combination with hindered phenolic antioxidants and hindered amine stabilizers to contribute improved performance to a variety of polymers. Antioxidant AO-68 can be used as a processing stabilizer in polymers to help control color degradations and melt flow. Antioxidant AO-68 is particularly useful in the stabilization of polyolefins, EVA, olefinic copolymers when used in conjunction with a phenolic antioxidant. Antioxidant AO-68 can also be used to stabilize polyesters, polycarbonates, polyamides, polystyrene, and elastomers. Use levels can range from 0.10 to 0.80% based on the polymer. |
