Electrically Conductive Adhesive
SEMICOSIL 979 EC Electrically Conductive Adhesive is a one-component, room temperature curing elastomer. It is supplied as a readily extrudable paste that cures rapidly when exposed to atmospheric moisture. When completely cured, SEMICOSIL 979 EC is a highly resilient elastomer which adheres to a variety of substrates and exhibits low volume resistivity.

* Excellent adhesion to various surfaces
The surface should be clean and free from any contamination. Solvents such as naptha or xylene
function well as surface cleaning agents. Rubber surfaces may be lightly rubbed with a fine grit sand paper and then wiped clean with acetone or a solvent such as noted above. SEMICOSIL 979 EC is not recommended for use with acrylic or polycarbonate substrates. |
