Silicone Resin
SILRES SY 409 is compatible with many organic resins. Addition of 5 - 20% is sufficient to improve weather and water resistance of paints based on polyester, melamine, acrylic phenolic resins. Due to the hydroxy content SILRES SY 409 can be cocondensed with hydroxy functional organic resisns. The hardness and flexibility of SILRES SY 409 can be modified by blending with Wacker’s SILRES REN 50, REN 60, SY 231 or SY 430. |
