Lubricants & Anti-blocking Agent for Size press.
Nopcote DC-110A plasticizes and lubricates starch solutions.
Due to its exceptional stability Nopcote DC-110A is especially suitable in the low solids starch solutions used on calenders and in size presses.
It is also effective in pigmented size press coatings made with starch, protein, latex or other adhesives, such as solutions or emulsions of cellulose esters,gums and gelatins.
Its main funtions are prevention of picking,sticking and blocking of the materials to which it is added.
Nopcote DC-110A forms low foaming emulsions, frequently contributing to control of foams and entrained air in the system.
