Modicol VD is an additive for improving water retention and flow property of coating color adding it to the coating color.
Owing to its water solubility,adding it to the coating color is made possible without passing through a dissolution process.
Extremely stable against decaying due to bacteria and fungus,unlike the natural raw materials.
It enhances water retention of the coating color,and suppresses viscosity change of the coating colors, streaks coating unevenness and migration, etc.
It providees the coating color with thixotropic fluidity characteristics, and increases a thixotropic index(T.I.)in low shear viscosity as well as levelling index(L.I) in high shear viscosity, thus prevents coating unevenness.
