| Capmul MCM is a mono-diglyceride of medium chain fatty acids (mainly caprylic and capric). It is an excellent solvent for many organic compounds including steroids. It is also a useful emulsifier for oil-water systems. Capmul MCM has GRAS status according to FDA 21 CFR § 184.1505. |
