| Captex 8000 (also known as glycerol tricaprylate) is a triglyceride manufactured by esterification of caprylic acid and glycerine. It is also fully refined and deodorized and is miscible with most organic solvents including 95% ethanol. Captex 8000 has excellent stability, low irritation, bland taste and odor. |
