The products vary in viscosity, volatility, feel, shine, lubricity, and water resistance.
The variance in the different grades of Cosmetic Fluid is based on the solids, diluents, and gum derivatives used.
These variations give the formulator a wide range of characteristics when formulating products.
Cosmetic Fluid have become a popular additive to hair shine products including serums, gels, micro-emulsions and refractive index based products.
They can also be used as excellent lubricants due to their "non-greasy feel".
They have performed well in conditioners, sun products, anti-perspirants, cremes and lotions. |
