RTV-2 Silicone Rubber
ELASTOSIL RT 623 RTV-2 Silicone Rubber is a pourable, addition-curing, two-component silicone rubber that vulcanizes at room temperature.
- Very good flow
- Fast and non-shrink cure at room temperature which can be accelerated considerably by the
application of heat
- Medium Shore A hardness (ca. 35)
- High tear resistance
- Long-term stability of the vulcanizate’s mechanical properties, particularly its hardness
Applications : ELASTOSIL RT 623 is a modification of ELASTOSIL M4601 and RTV-ME 622 that has been especially designed as a base material for making printing pads. The markedly greater base reactivity of this grade makes it easier to compensate for the dilution effect of adding silicone fluid that would otherwise result in a longer pot life and tack-free time and might, in extreme cases, inhibit curing. |
