Antifoam Emulsion SE 25

Antifoam Emulsion SE 25 contains 30% silicone. It is designed to be stable for extended periods of time after dilution. Since SE 25 has excellent dilution stability, it is recommended for antifoam formulators. Antifoam Emulsion SE 25 is used to control foam in a wide variety of aqueous food processes as well as industrial processes. Effective foam control may be obtained with as little as 10 ppm of SE 25. Evaluations of SE 25 at 100 ppm and 1000 ppm should also be made to aid in determining the amount which gives optimum foam control.
Antifoam Emulsion SE 25 contains those ingredients which conform to the FDA requirements as published in the CODE OF FEDERAL REGULATIONS. According to these regulations the maximum level of SE 25 allowable is 33 ppm. SE 25 also qualifies for use as an indirect food additive.
