Pro-Tec 1220 is a water based, water dilutable corrosion inhibitor concentrate for ferrous and nonferrous metals.
A special inhibitor provides added protection for soft metals such as copper and brass.
Pro-Tec 1220 forms a clear solution and leaves a thin, uniform rust inhibiting film which will provide up to 6 months indoor storage protection on in-processes and finished parts and assembles.
Pro-Tec 1220 inhibiting film is paintable with no adhesion problems and is compatible with Loctite PMS-10E impregnation resin.
It can also be used as a protectant in open or closed circulating systems.
