CHP 158 may be used as an initiator, or catalyst, for the curing of polyester resins and for the polymerization of various vinyl monomers. Since it is a readily soluble liquid, it can be conveniently measured and rapidly dissolved in a monomer or a resin. CHP 158 can be used for both room temperature and elevated temperature cures. For room temperature curing, promoters such as manganese naphthenate, dibutylthiourea, N, N-dimethylaniline, cobalt naphthenate and vanadium acetylacetonate are commonly used. |
