A fast curing accelerator for styrene-butadiene rubber, butyl rubber and 4-polybutadiene rubber.
But generally not for natural rubber.
Easy incipient scorch, generally adding kinds of thiazole and sulfenamide to improve its safety.
Mainly used at carbon, industrial products ect.
Used as main accelerator in styrene-butadiene rubber, the use level is 0.2-0.75, matching with 1.5-0.2 of sulfonamide and 2.0-0.5 of sulfur used as second accelerator, adding 0.05-0.2 of it, matching with 0.5-2.0 sulfonamide and 2.5-1.5 sulfur.
Used as main accelerator in butyl rubber, the use level is 1.0-2.0, matching with 0.5-2.0 sulfonamide and 2.0-1.0 sulfur. |
