MACROSPEC L-70 is polyphenolic retanning resulted of an organic synthesis, which the molecule polarity and the average molecular weight were increased. In retanned leathers, MACROSPEC L-70 provides a better light fastness and heat resistance.
* Applications:
Due to its characteristics, MACROSPEC L-70 provides a lower penetration in the leather cut, conferring a special consistence to the leather grain and enhancing the leather buffing and embossing procedures.
Using MACROSPEC L-70 the follows characteristics are obtained:
-Reduction of the grain elasticity, keeping the embossing effect
-Condition of the leather grain, making easier the buffing procedure
-Short and compact fibers are obtained after buffing in the splits retanning
-Better oxidation resistance
-Excellent selective filling, producing fullness in the flanks. |
