Neosilk CT-55L is a high-polymeric silicone solution. with the addition of crosslinking agent v-80 amd catalyst C-80, the product quickly crosslinks to form resilient silicone rubber coating under heat influence.
Its use in concentrated solutions is particularly destined to produce resilient, antifriction and waterproof coating on all kinds of fabric.
Applications of appr. 15 - 40 Kg/m of solid silicone impart a resistance of water columns of 100cm and more-ever on lihgt fabrics.
The coatings will not alter the light and supple properties of the fabric, they are for this reason especially suited for tents, maruees, anoraks and othercamping or sport articles, the treated fabrics are resistant to friction, weathering and laundering, due to the fact that silicone rubber has a better water vapour permeability than most of the organic synthetics, there is no fabric which had been treated with Neosilk CT-55L.
When applied in solutions of lower percentages in the impregnation of textiles, neosilk when applied in solutions of lower percentages in the impregnation of textile, Neosilk CT-55L imparts excellent, supple and easy handle properties. The impregnated fabrics largely retain their air permeability and contours, they are supple and resistant to creasing and laundering. |
