This product is a highly effective, very low volatility, multi-application, non-pollution, non-pinking polyphenolic antioxidant. Its capability is better than antioxidant 2246, whose chemical name is 2,2'-methylenebis(4-methyl-6-tertiarybutylphenol).
Mainly used to protect light colored, non-staining goods derived from natural rubber and latex, ABS, BR, NBR, NR, SBR and carboxylated SBR latices, SBS, SIS, etc.
Applied for in-process stabilization of polymers as well as use in manufactured goods such as elastic thread, carpet backing, foam rubber mattresses, household and surgical gloves, medical products, baby bottle teats, hot water bottles, automotive components, bath mats and so on. It can enhance their stability.
Especially used for the protection of natural and synthetic polymers based on isoprene and butadiene chemistry. |
