It’s used as high-effective film-forming auxiliaries.It’s a strong solvent for acrylic resin, nitrocellulose, cellulose acetate, ethyl cellulose,epoxy resin,alkyd resin,phenoxy resin, etc. It’s widely used in water-based and solvent-based coatings, silk-screen, printing ink, pigments, dyestuffs, pharmaceutical intermediate, perfume, electronic cleaning, etc. Used in coatings, it can reduce film-forming temperature and get good performance.Used in paints, it can improve fluidity, toughness, intensity, luster. Used in textile printings, it’s environmental carrier solvent.Used in detergent,cosmetics and ointment for skin, it’s a good penetrating agent, germicide, preservative. It’s used as fixative for perfumes. It has distinct comprehensive properties and is used as the substitute for Isophorone, anone, dibasic ester, benzyl alcohol, ethylene glycol ether, etc. It’s a very efficient coalescing agent and coupler. It also has good miscibility, low toxicity and moderate evaporation rate."
