L-Lactic Acid （High optical purity）

It is featured with a high optical purity, applicable to the synthesis of chiral products. It’s also the raw material of Poly Lactic Acid (PLA), which is applied to biodegradable plastics.

Description:Derived from the bio-fermentation of corn, L-lactic acid of high optical purity is a lactic acid with marked levorotation. A colorless or yellowish, nearly odorless, syrupy liquid with a slight acid taste. It is hygroscopic, and completely soluble in water, ethanol or ether, but insoluble in chloroform.
