It is light yellow or orange oily liquid at room temperature. It can easily dissolve in organic solvents such as alcohols, esters, acetones, alkanes and aromatics (e.g. ethanol, butyl acetate, acetone, gasoline, toluene, etc.), and it is insoluble in water. Its color gradually darkens when exposed to light, heat and air.
Main physical and chemical properties are followed as: Its specific gravity is 0.92（25→）.It is usually liquid at room temperature, and can separate out or freeze at low temperature. Its anti-oxidative efficiency in use will not be affected after being molten. It is combustible but not flammable easily and has good chemical stability.

| It is one antioxidant having excellent performance, low price and convenient usage for oil products, mainly used in place of expensive BHT (T501) in the fields of fuel oil and machine oil, and value/price offering will be higher if the both combines to be applied. To add it as an antioxidant to edible oil is strictly forbidden. |
