white, sweet and toxic powder with specific gravity of 6.94. It can dissolve in hydrochloric acid and nitric acid, but not in water. It will become grey or black at about 200¡É and even to yellow at 450¡É, but in a good reducibility. As an antioxidant, it has excellent performance of resistance to ultraviolet ray, cold and ageing. |
