calcium 65%-80% ,Aluminum 20-35%
CaAl is used for deoxidation alloyed and non-alloyed steels, in which the Silicon content is limited. It has been particularly successful when used in deep drawing and heat-resistant steels. Of technical importance is also deoxidation of the slag during the ESR process.
It is also used as the reducing agent for smelting of rare metals. Calcium-aluminum is an inter-alloy in metallurgical industries and plays a role in desulfuration, deoxidization and purification. CaAl alloy is widely used as grid materials in storage battery industry。It can be made into CaAl cored wire for deoxidization and desulfurization in steel -smelting.
a. Ca-Al alloy
Specification: Ca:65~80%, Al:35~20%
Size:30-100mm(irregular lumps),3-30mm(coarse ranules)
Packing: Polybags filled argon gas in and then sealed in steel drum.50KG/drum or 150KG/drum
Or as per customs requirements.
b. Ca-Mg alloy
Specification: Ca:24-32%
Mg balance
Size: 30-100 mm (irregular lumps)
