CW 200-70 |
Chlorinated normal paraffin (short chain) |
CW 200-70 offers good stability and resistance to thermal decomposition. Solubility will vary with each source of base oil. Resistance to hydrolysis in the presence of water is better than chlorinated waxes. The effectiveness of CW 200-70 in metalworking applications is usually proportional to the percent of chlorine. It is a very effective extreme pressure additive for soluble oils, cutting oils and certain drawing compounds. |
