Acephate is an organophosphorous insecticide and acaricide with mainly contact poisoning action and certain systemic, stomach effect. It is high effective, low toxic and less residual effect. Control of a wide range of chewing and sucking insects, e.g. aphids, thrips, lepidopterous, larvaes, sawflies, leafhoppers, cutworms, etc., in fruit.
