ELFTEX 490 is an all purpose regular color pigment black with high tinting strength and good dispersibility. Its primary use is in the field of printing inks.
ELFTEX 490 is a high structure utility pigment black suitable for aqueous newspaper printing inks and a broad field of liquid ink applications. Among the properties it provides are good intensity and excellent dispersibility in water based flexographic inks.
The dispersibility of ELFTEX 490 pigment black depends on the equipment used and the formulation. It has a good balance of jetness and ease of dispersion compared to regular color blacks with similar surface area but lower structure.
ELFTEX 490 is a pelleted pigment black but is also available in an easier to disperse powdered form as ELFTEX 495. |
