Dow Corning 56 Additive is intended for eliminating microfoam, improving leveling and improving mar resistance.
Dow Corning 56 Additive has been successfully used in these industrial applications1:
- Eliminates microfoam in solvent-based wood coatings
- Improves leveling in solventless paints at 0.2 to 0.5 percent
- Improves leveling in water-based wood coatings at 0.5 to 5 percent
- Improves leveling in solvent-based wood coatings at 0.05 to 0.5 percent and as high as 5%
- Improves mar resistance in solvent-based industrial coatings |
