DPG is a general purpose accelerator for sulfur cures. Very active above 116'C (240'F) moderately low activation temperature. Use in natural and synthetic rubbers. DPG can be used as either a primary or secondary accelerator in natural rubber, SBR, nitrile (Paracril) and butyl. When used as a primary accelerator, DPG offers good processing safety and storage stability of compounds with a moderately slow cure rate. This makes DPG ideally suitable for use in thick walled rubber articles. DPG has a powerful activating effect when used as a secondary accelerator. Nonstaining and nondiscoloring, especially when used as a secondary accelerator. |
