Sodium Trimetaphosphate occurs as white crystals or crystalline powder. It is a cyclic polyphosphates composed of three metaphopshate units. It melts at 627.6℃ and has got a relative density as 2.476g/cm3. It is freely water soluble. The pH of its 1:100 aqueous solution is about 6.0.
