Trisodium phosphate anhydrous occurs as white crystals or granules or as a crystalline powder. It has got a relative density as 2.536g/cm3, melts at 1340℃ and is deliquescent. It is freely soluble in water but insoluble in alcohol and the pH of 1:100 aqueous solution is between 11.5 and 12.5.
