Titanium K
   Technology Description (±â¼ú °³¿ä)
Titanium K-85 / Titanium K-240 (neutral aqueous solution)

Titanium K differs from Titanium R. It is already crystallized and shows the photocatalytic activity when it is coated and dried. In case of flat and smooth surface the TiO2 coated to the substrate comes off as a powder when rubbed with a finger because Titanium K cannot form a hardness film. However the hardness of the film coated with Titanium K can be improved when it is heated to a certain temperature. A coated film with Titanium K never dissolves in water. After dip coating the extra liquid need to be drained from the substrate. Repeat the coating a couple times when you cannot achieve enough thickness of the film.
Spray coating may also be used. Dry the coated film completely. When it is not dried enough the thick-coated film peels during the heat treatment. Titanium K is already crystallized to anatase so that it shows the photocatalystic function when it is coated and dried at room temperature. However it is more efficient to conduct high temperature heat treatment that corresponds to the substrate in order to improve its various activities and adhesion.
Target Application (ÀÀ¿ëºÐ¾ß)
Titanium K -85 and 240 are suitable for dip coating.
